A group of artists and scientists are travelling to Scotland's islands to look at strategies for the future.
Cape Farewell is a group which aims to generate a cultural response to climate change. Island communities will be among the most vulnerable to climate change, so their voyage will investigate the impact of climate change on the cultures and ecologies of Scotland’s islands. The first week of their journey will include visits to Mull, Muck, Rum, Eigg and Skye, looking at community ownership and food. The tour continues through to August and will also look at ecology, energy, Gaelic language and song.
