A University of Edinburgh project using wireless technology to deliver broadband to Knoydart and Loch Hourn has won an award. The project has won a Next Generation Challenge award in the rural leadership and community development category. The University used wireless technology (WiFi) in a network to deliver high speed broadband to around forty households.
