A £1 million scheme has been launched by Transport Scotland and Scotrail to increase usage of disused railway station buildings.

The scheme is open to projects that make use of station buildings either for a business that meets passenger or community needs or for a community project. The fund can be used as a contribution towards the set-up costs of a project; for structural costs and for up to 50% of the costs of fitting out a building for its new use.
