BT have re-launched their community web kit, which helps charities and community groups create their own web presence.
The community web kit allows you to register for an account and then go on to customise your own website. The package includes free website hosting and website addresses; a choice of templates and colour themes to use on your website; space for multiple pages and pictures and a page editor (or an HTML editor if you're into those sorts of things).
The resulting websites look OK and aren't festooned with adverts, although the free addresses aren't that snappy. However, it's a simple way to get an on-line presence and you can find further details here.
