Forestry Commission Scotland have launched a new publication which provides advice and information for woodland managers who have sites of historic significance within their woodlands.

It's thought that over 25,000 archaelogical features lie in and around Scotland's woodlands.  This new publication hopes to provide a 'route-map' for woodland managers to help them find advice and information on managing these historical sites.  You can download the publication, entitled 'Historic Environment Information & Advice for Forest and Woodland Managers in Scotland' here.
