Agri-renewables strategy to be produced

At the Black Isle show this month, Richard Lochead MSP announced that an agri-renewables strategy will be produced for Scotland. The strategy will look at some of the issues which face land-managers when they want to develop renewable energy systems on their land, including dealing with the planning system and connecting to the grid. The strategy will be developed in conjunction with industry representatives and will be part of the Renewables Routemap which was published recently.
