Rum Community Trust

Development Officer 

£23,500 - £26,000 p.a. 

The Rum Community Trust is a recently formed organisation, which consists of the Rum Community Association, Scottish Natural Heritage and The Highland Council. The Community Trust was established to take forward the actions arising from the Kinloch Development Plan (Isle of Rum). The Trust is being supported by a Task Team, consisting of members of relevant agencies, for a period of one year. 

Rum Community Trust now has a vacancy for a Development Officer on a 2 year, fixed-term contract. The Development Officer will work with Rum Community Trust and the Task Team to implement an agreed an action plan to develop the island. It is not intended that the post will be based on the island in the first instance, although the postholder will be expected to spend significant time on the island. 

Salary for the post will be £23,500 - £26,000 p.a.
