Historian Jim Hunter sets out the case for increased community land ownership in Scotland, in a new book to be published this week. The Low TIde of the Sea to the Highest Mountain Tops documents the successes in community owned estates across the Highlands and Islands from Stornoway to GIgha, arguing that they have delivered excellent value for public money.
