Community Land Scotland (CLS), the umbrella body for community land-owning groups, have called for the establishment of a new Scottish Land Fund.

The group have launched a policy briefing which looks at the case for a new Land Fund and how it could be administered.  Launching the briefing, David Cameron, chair of CLS, welcomed the Scottish Government's pre-election commitment to creating a new Scottish Land Fund.  He commented that the time had now come to start shaping definite proposals and that the creation of a new fund should be one of the issues the Scottish Parliament debates in the coming months.
