CLS appoint policy director

Community Land Scotland (CLS), the umbrella body for community land-owning groups, has appointed their first policy director.
Former MSP and Scottish Minister, Peter Peacock, has been appointed to the role, which will involve focusing on policy issues to help put community land ownership on the political agenda in Scotland. David Cameron, chair of CLS, commented on the appointment:
"The appointment of Peter as policy director has lifted the role of Community Land Scotland to a new level and now we can even more strongly represent our members' views to organisations whose decisions affect our everyday lives."
