New life for Scottish Wild Land Group

After coming dangerously close to winding-up, the Scottish Wild Land Group has managed to pull together a new steering group to head into the future.

At the group's AGM in Stirling, a motion to wind up the campaigning charity and pass on the funds was on the agenda.  But an array of members and supporters came to the rescue, with a new coordinator stepping up in the form of Rob McMorran, who works as a researcher at the Centre for Mountain Studies in Perth.  Other new steering group members were appointed and the group now looks set to move forward into a newly invigorated future.

You can find out more about their activities and read their most recent newsletter at http://www.swlg.org.uk/default.htm
