As you know the internet is a big 'place' with everything about anything so we aim to bring you relevant news and events, and provide opportunities to share ideas with other people interested in this subject. So far there are over 800 members, and more than 500 articles in our archive.

Planning aid podcasts

August 3rd, 2009 saw the introduction of several changes to the planning process as a result of the Planning etc (Scotland) 2006 Act.  In response, Planning Aid Scotland have launched a new leaflet, advice line and podcast series to explain how they can help communities and individuals with planning related matters.

Shaking up the planning system

A range of measures to streamline the planning system have been announced by the Scottish Government. Developed in partnership with other organisations, the Government has billed the reforms as 'designed to ensure planning is geared towards supporting increased sustainable economic growth'.
