Jackie Killeen, acting Scotland director for the Big Lottery Fund, has said that urban Scotland can learn from the success of rural Scotland in asset ownership and development. In her comments, Ms Killeen also pledged Big's support to communities across the country to help them develop community-led services. She highlighted that other community asset projects have worked because local people are best placed to identify what their community needs to develop.
