The newly appointed Bute Community Land Company has appointed an architect to work on the forest design, despite asking them to do some of the work for free.

Big lottery acknowledges rural Scotland's achievements

Jackie Killeen, acting Scotland director for the Big Lottery Fund, has said that urban Scotland can learn from the success of rural Scotland in asset ownership and development.

The informal alliance known as Local People Leading has decided to develop into a formally constituted organisation known as the Scottish Community Sector Alliance.
