The latest round of Investing in Ideas awards has been announced.
The grants are designed to help groups test ideas that could eventually become fully fledged projects. Amongst the most recent successes are Urras Tac Chalanais who have received funding to investigate the possibility of creating a croft heritage centre and campsite on Lewis; the Fraserburgh Development Trust who will look into the potential for developing a social enterprise bakery (hmmm....yum!) in New Pitsligo and Islay Energy Trust who will research the creation of a community investment fund.
