So far there are over 800 members, and more than 500 articles in our archive.

We hope you will join the network so that you can share your views, experiences and aspirations of owning and managing land-based assets.

You can join for FREE - all you need is a valid email address. You'll receive a monthly email digest of news and views from the network, and get access to all the interactive features of this site, which show up when you log in.

The most recent articles are available on the home page - previous articles are in their relevant topic areas (browse the 'Topics' menu on the left).

Changes to Investing in Ideas

The Big lottery fund's Investing in Ideas programme has been re-launched. Much of the funding programme remains similar to before and it continues to award between £500 - £10,000 for testing and developing ideas that could eventually become fully-fledged projects or services.  However, they've widened the scope of the programme as ideas no longer have to fit with one of the Investing in Communities investment areas.  The application form has also been simplified so that signatures and supporting documents aren't required at the application stage.  The fund has £1million available to disperse each year and you can find further details here.
