The people's millions and awards for all

Two lottery funds are currently seeking applications - the People's Millions and the recently re-launched Awards for All.

The People's Millions is open for applications until May 15th and will provide grants of up to £50,000 for 14 projects in Scotland. The grant scheme has two themes - providing opportunities for people to enjoy their local area (indoors and outside) and improving local facilities for everyone to enjoy. Final award decisions are put to the public vote through a series of short features on ITV. For further information and an application pack, go the Big Lottery Fund website.

Awards for All was re-launched on April 1st with a new application pack and a simpler application process. Grants can be between £500 and £10,000 and are for projects which improve opportunities for people to take part in the arts, sport and community activities.
