Local United have bought together several ethical energy suppliers to create a scheme where community groups can benefit from their members switching suppliers.
For each community member who switches to one of the ethical energy suppliers, the community receives 70% of the annual affiliation reward. In practice, that means between £20 and £30 per customer per year. So, it won't make you millions, but if your community is looking at encouraging people towards sourcing greener energy, it may offer an additional financial benefit.
