An Insiders' Guide is a collection of strong, individual voices from those on the inside of change, captured as a series of films. They tell stories of challenges and inspiration from the people working to strengthen their communities. Most are supported by the Growing Community Assets scheme of BIG lottery.
We’ve divided the films into asset acquisition and asset development. Why? Because these communities had either owned the asset they wanted to develop, or were at the first stage of needing funds to buy it. As all acquisition plans need a development vision to ‘grow’, both sections are packed with relevant ideas.
