Welcome to the Scottish Community Land Network

You're seeing this message because you are a visitor - it disappears when you log in!

This site is for people interested in the management and ownership of land-based assets by communities in Scotland. A Scottish Community Land Network, you might say... As you know the internet is a big 'place' with everything about anything so we aim to bring you relevant news and events, and provide opportunities to share ideas with other people interested in this subject. So far there are over 800 members, and more than 500 articles in our archive.

We hope you will join the network so that you can share your views, experiences and aspirations of owning and managing land-based assets.

You can join for FREE - all you need is a valid email address. You'll receive a monthly email digest of news and views from the network, and get access to all the interactive features of this site, which show up when you log in.

The most recent articles are available on the home page - previous articles are in their relevant topic areas (browse the 'Topics' menu on the left).

Newsletter - December 2008

PoorBest

Welcome to the December 2008 Scottish Community Land Network newsletter.  It's been a busy month on the website, with new registrations a-plenty and people filling in further information on their personal profiles.  We've now added a search function to the profile area, so you can search for people with an expertise in juggling, Latvian knitting, community land ownership or whatever floats your boat.  We hope this means you'll be able to use the profiles to get in touch with people who have expertise or interest in similar areas, so that we can all benefit from each other.  You could call it a network, I guess!  And just to remind you, to encourage people to fill in their information, all profiles completed by the end of the year will be entered into a draw to win one of five USB cup warmers

As before, if you've got any comments or suggestions for the network, please contact us, or post a message in the forum.  Otherwise, all that remains is for me to wish you a happy and peaceful Christmas and a wild and woolly Hogmanay.

Best wishes,

Tamsin Morris & Chris York
