Local People Leading are facilitating this Scottish Government fund which provides grants to certain community groups to allow them to exchange knowledge and ideas within the wider community sector. 

The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) is promoting a BSc degree course in sustainable rural development which is being delivered entirely on-line.  There's also a range of short courses designed for people already working in community development in rural areas.
